MONDAY JULY 23: Next Monday we’ll be having Volunteer Orientation as well as another shop buildout night. Shop build out/work day will be going on from 6-10PM. Bring your power tools, yourself, and any of your handy friends. Orientation will happen from 7-8PM where we’ll discuss shop dynamics, behavior, and the many ways that you can be involved with Sopo.
FRIDAY JULY 27 is the DEADLINE for the Volunteer Coordinator Applications. Please have your application and resume sent to tito@sopobikes.org by July 27 at 5PM.
SATURDAY 7/28: VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES
Better Block Project. This will be along the lines of a mini Atlanta Streets Alive. We’ll have a mobile bike repair station and we’ll also be tabling. The event is from 12-9 but there will be a large section of downtime during the game (It’s happening near Turner Field by the intersection of Terry St and Reed St). We need mechanics and volunteers willing to table for us. Please reply to me at dianna@sopobikes.org or bobby@sopobikes.org. This is sure to be a lot of fun! If you are available for even an hour it would be greatly appreciated!!

The Braves game begins at 7:15pm so we’ll be slowly packing things up around then but will need the most help for the few hours before the game starts.

FEEDBACK WANTED: Sopo is about to start hosting Family Shop Hours every second Sunday of the month. We’re really excited about this time for families to come and learn to work on bicycles together.
