Mobile Social: This Friday the 13th!
My, my, my how time flies. It’s already July – halfway through the year. However, we’re nowhere near halfway done showing you new things in Atlanta. For the July ride, Mobile Social will be doing a High Five Fly bike ride around downtown Atlanta, Southwest ATL, and ending at the new Atlanta Food Truck Park. Bring your bike, helmet, blinkies, and “Jinkies this year is halfway over” comments… we’ll bring the fun and the “OMGs, IKnowItFeelsLikeJanuaryWasYesterday” responses. We’re so excited to visit this new Food Truck Park…maybe we’ll even ride back over on Saturday for their farmer’s market!

This Summer: Live Smarter, Live Better Neighborhood Bike Rides
Saturday, July 14 from 8am-11am, join us at Piedmont Park Community Center (1215 Piedmont Avenue), where the Atlanta Dream Team bike club will join Councilmember Aaron Watson on a 15-mile roundtrip bike ride open to youth and adults of all ages. Riders will explore Atlanta’s intown gardens and learn about growing healthy foods. The ride will begin at the Piedmont Park Community Center and will include lunch following the ride. ABC Fun Ride
Monthly on 3rd Sunday @ 10:30 AM
Designed for beginning cyclists, those new to group riding, or the cyclist who is looking for a slow, socially oriented jaunt through our intown neighborhoods.
Experienced riders will share knowledge and answer questions to help folks feel more comfortable riding with a group on the streets of Atlanta.
This is a slow-paced social ride (avg. 10-12 mph) between 10 and 15 miles in length. Faster riders may race up hills but will wait for the group at the top. Our motto is fun for everyone!
This ride is always on Sunday and starts at 10:30 a.m. Meet in Little Five Points (corner of Euclid and Moreland Ave.) by the Village Coffee Shop. Helmets required. No ride if raining.

Heels on Wheels kicks off Downtown Atlanta Restaurant Week on July 21!
All are welcome – including men! – on this special July installment of our dressy social ride with a nice meandering pace. The theme for July is Garden Party, so don a summer dress and heels or Cuban shirt to keep cool. Bring a date, your crew, or come solo to see old friends and make new ones.
Meet at 6 pm at the Inman Park MARTA Station under the awning on the north side of the station. The ride leaves at 6:30 pm for downtown Atlanta (~3.5 miles) and returns to Inman Park after dinner (around 9 pm). Consider riding MARTA or biking to the ride start to keep your summer green!
From Inman Park we’ll ride to 191 Peachtree for the kickoff of Downtown Atlanta’s Restaurant Week. Your bikes will be secure at the bike valet in front of 191 Peachtree, sponsored by Central Atlanta Progress, from 7-11 pm.

Any cyclist who uses the VIP Bike Valet at 191 Peachtree Tower from 7pm-11pm on Saturday, July 21 will receive a special incentive to return to Downtown restaurants after their Restaurant Week dining experience. To provide even more options for cyclists, CAP is installing new bike racks near Downtown restaurants to encourage more people to bike and dine.
All of the participating restaurants are within walking – and biking – distance to the Downtown MARTA stations. Just $25-$35 for 3 courses at participating restaurants. Visit the website to see all the options!
