We need TIRES and WHEELS!

Got some used but still useable tires and wheels lying around?  Consider this:  If you donate them to us, you'll get someone else rolling along the very same day...no joke!  Road (27in and 700c) and mountain (26in) are what we're looking for.  Come on by during our regularly scheduled hours.  You were probably planning on rooting through our collection of parts anyway, so here's a good chance to help yourself AND someone else.

Bike!Bike! Southeast! = SUCCESS!

Our conference weekend brought out almost 70 creative, intelligent, wonderful people representing almost 25 community bike shops from across the Southeast and beyond.  We learned, laughed, ate, biked, and pushed the community bike shop movement to the next level.  Stay tuned for pictures, notes, and big lessons learned.  Thank you to Alon's Bakery, Food Not Bombs, everyone who opened their homes and hearts to our guests, all of our workshop facilitators, and YOU for making Atlanta a great place to be.

No Shop Hours This Weekend

Instead, we're putting on a conference.  Come check it out.  Everyone's invited!  Regular shop hours resume next Tuesday.

Shop closed Sunday for Strategic Planning

The shop will be closed on Sunday, January 11, 2009 because we're doing a little Strategic Planning that day.  We're pleased to announce that we've received generous financial support from The Philanthropic Collective.  We intend to use this support to ensure that Sopo will exist always as your community bike repair shop.  Hence the Planning session on Sunday.  Thanks for understanding, and thanks for being a fantastic community!
