Blog: Community bike shop conference almost here; Volunteers needed!

Bike!Bike! Southeast! is almost here!  Twenty-seven community bike shop projects and advocacy organizations have registered so far (wow!).  Whether you'd like come and learn, and/or volunteer by providing hospitality to our visitors, this is an opportunity for YOU to help transform communities in to safe places to live, work, and ride bikes.  If you'd like to volunteer, please sign up here.  If you'd like to plain old register, do that here.  If you'd like to help get the word out, print or forward this flyer.

Blog: We very strongly agree with 100% of statistics about Sopo

Thanks to Matt Babski for checking in with the Sopo community to see if we're actually acheiving our mission, and thanks to everyone who participated in his survey!  Matt says, "Congratulations! The results of the [statistics] project show that you are doing an excellent job of providing equitable access" to affordable bike maintenance, services, and education!  We found out that a range of folks use the shop, and all kinds of shop participants are getting what they need from it.  We also learned that word of mouth is our best form of advertising, so THANK YOU again.
