Heels on Wheels: picnic in the park

Join your favorite well-heeled’n'wheeled women for this social ride starting at Woodward Cyclery, a small bicycle boutique located in Atlanta’s Grant Park neighborhood. Woodward Cyclery shares a space with the Sopo Bicycle Coop, making Woodward Avenue one of Atlanta’s most bicycle-friendly streets!
This ride keeps a casual pace and leaves no one behind, and you’re encouraged to wear your Sunday best, whatever that means to you! We think it’s pretty great to see a group of women dressed up for a bike ride…
Meet at 9:45 am for coffee (provided by neighbor Stone Soup) and snacks to peruse the shop and meet Sarah, the owner.
Rolling out about a half hour later, we’ll explore the neighborhoods of Grant Park across the street, Cabbagetown, and Reynoldstown. Stops along the way will include a peek at some art galleries and spaces, local bakeries and shops including Sugar-Coated Radical and Park Grounds and other points of interest.
Around lunchtime we’ll head to the Grant Park Farmers Market to pick up fixins for our picnic in the park, so bring be sure to bring cash or pack a lunch. Friends and family welcome to join at the park.
