Fixing up a bike for Charity Bikes and the tires are dry rotted. The tires are also an odd size, 24 x 1 3/8. It is a fractional 24 inch tire.

With a little bit of looking among SoPo’s tires, I found a pair for the bike. The tires were needed and SoPo provided. Soon the bike will be part of a Charity Bikes donation; getting more people on the road who have taken a bike safety and a basic bike maintenance classes.

Still stripping frames for Art Bikes and I ran into another bottom bracket that could use a special tool.

But the difference this time is that the tool kept slipping off the bottom bracket cup. Instead of working harder, I worked smarter by using this cool DIY tool.

And what it does is keep the tool on the bottom bracket cup so it doesn’t slip off.
