Riding in the Snow

After posting a bit on winter riding, today was a day I can actually put it into practice.  First there is bundling up.  I was layered several times over, several tops, 2 layers of pants, winter hat under the helmet, 2 pairs of gloves, and..plastic grocery bags under the socks.  Second is the bike.  It was a cyclocross bike with knobby tires, now it's a commuter with skinny smooth tires.  Should have kept the knobby tires because I was slippin and slidin.  Third, it was a lot of fun to ride home.  It might have been cold, it might have been wet, but it was fun, like playing in the...snow.  Check out some pics.
